The ramen at Minca (5th street between Avenue A and B) is damn good. Originally tried this place a year or so ago while looking for an Ippudo alternative (got sick of waiting in line for an hour!). It is definitely a worthy substitute and I think many would say it is even better. Plus it is quite photogenic. :)
noodle soups are my favorite. i can eat that stuff for all 3 meals. yummy!!
