I almost never entertain because if I did, we'd probably be eating Honeycomb cereal and drinking pour over coffee. Also if you saw the amount of counter space I have, you'd understand. When I got the chance to put together a small dinner based around Stella Artois' new Cidre product, I knew it could be great with a little help from my talented friends.
Kristy developed a menu that would work well for my small space and to go with the Cidre.
We had Kumamoto and Beau Soleil oysters, a great endive salad, sautéed mushrooms with toasted hazelnuts, crab toasts, tons of cheeses and meats, and of course, washed it all down with copious amounts of Cidre. Dessert to come in another post ;).
We managed to squeeze around my coffee table and there was much Instagramming involved, with a "punny" hashtag courtesy of
Emily, #cidrevousplaît (see our photos
here).
Disclosure: Thank you to Stella Artois for sponsoring this event.
