Old world luxe
I swooned hard over this 18th century French "hotel" exhibit at the MET. Turns out hotel in that context just meant a private house.
The black and white doesn't really do it justice but you can still make out some of the ornate details. I wish I could have stepped past the velvet ropes and walked around the room!

ReplyDeleteI've seen this room, so maybe I'm benefitting from already knowing what it looks like in full color, but dayumn, do I love these in b&w! Especially the chair in the corner.
