Took advantage of the gorgeous day to check out the new Blue Bottle in Chelsea. Nicole was around so we met up for a bit. The decor is very minimalist and the space downstairs is pretty tiny. What's really exciting is the upstairs siphon bar/nel drip station. Very serious stuff up there. I do want to return for that - what's crazy is that I already have both a siphon and nel drip at home so maybe I should set up a little brewing bar myself. :P
We were steps away from the High Line so I grabbed these portraits up there. I love the different colors of hair in her braid.
Ah, now I know there's a little piece of home in NYC ;)
ReplyDeletedo it! make a brewing bar in your home! how awesome would that be?
ReplyDeleteAlice, more beautiful photos. Coming to your site makes me miss NY!

Cannot wait for the High Line! April! The coffee looks good too. Wonderfully captured as usual
ReplyDeleteI think you should have a side business of a coffee house of your own, I know it would be filled with amazing decor, lots of natural light and beautiful photographs! I would definitely check it out when in NYC!
ReplyDeleteI feel like I know NY from a local's perspective. I've yet to visit your lovely city but I will - one day. There must be incredible cafes dotted all over NYC. UK is still pretty much a tea drinking country but that's changing.
ReplyDeleteI went to the blue bottle this past summer for the first time...such a great space! I 'm excited to meet the both of you lovely ladies this weekend!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! Also, that coffee bar looks like a chemistry lab and I LOVE it!
