Tiny treasures

This week, I received this adorable orchid in the mail from my kind friend, Mai. :D
Thank you so, so much! Or should I say, mahalo! I love it and I hope I can care for it properly to maximize its lifespan. It really means a lot when I get flowers from people, maybe because I have not had great luck getting them from the guys in my life (hahah). Also, flowers just make me so happy, and taking pictures of flowers makes me happier.

  1. Aww, how sweet! A cute little message. Orchids are so nice and seem to have such a long life span, too.

  5. Hi, it's been a while since i look at your work and try to find the right words to describe it, what i think about it. In fact, i writed two poems about two of your photographs. haha. Anyway, i started publishing some of my stuff on a blog last week and i was wondering if i could make some questions to you about your work, what you do. I'm thinking of build some pictures about what i like, with colors, words and some 'answers'. So, i'll wait for your answer. For now, anne. (Sry about my english, i'm not used too).

  7. Hi Alice,

Orchid flowers last about 1-2 months until they fall off but another cycle starts within a month or so. When I first got my first orchid, it bloomed once every three months despite how tiny it is. Now I am having 3 and they make my life so much happier after work!

Please take more photos of your flowers :) I really enjoy looking at them

  8. Adorable! My husband got me a mini Orchid from Home Depot for Valentines Day. Good thing you can't really kill Orchids... I'm horrible at keeping flowers alive!
