Paris with a heat index of 102 is a Paris I don't want to experience too many times in my lifetime. It's not that I can't handle a little heat, but when it does get that bad, my body just wants to slump down over an ice cube, and I operate at 30% capacity because I'm drained so easily. Also, 95% of Paris does not have AC, so when you've finally made it to your destination after a sweltering walk, there is no relief. In fact, it was often hotter indoors than out. The AC was also broken in our hotel room the first night, but that's a whole can of worms I won't get into.
Anyway, the fiery heat meant getting out as early as possible before temperatures properly rose. I took these shots over a leisurely breakfast at Le Pigalle (which was around the corner from where we stayed at Le Grand Pigalle) and in the surrounding streets.

ft. Monse top (fell in love with this at first sight and ordered it shortly thereafter)
// Citizens of Humanity jeans
// Maryam Nassir Zadeh pumps (on sale in navy here)
// Lo & Sons bag
// Celine sunglasses *side note, Matches has by far the lowest priced Celine eyewear I have seen anywhere. This pair, for example, retails for $450 in the US, 320 Euros in Europe (which is what I paid and thought was a "deal"), and somehow is only $285 on the site. Snag it up before they realize! I also have my eyes on these orange-pink babies.
