I was about to sit down to some tea – Thé du Hammam from Le Palais des Thés was my choice this afternoon – and chocolate, but couldn't help to stage a little shot to welcome my new teapot and tray to the prop mix. I picked these up from ABC Carpet & Home today (a dangerous place for me) along with some quince blossoms from the greenmarket. Here's to hoping they bloom!
Lovely styling - and what a delightful teapot! Think my man would be happy to be seen drinking tea using one of those sets :)

ReplyDeleteAlso, I am new to using my strobe and often when I do the light is too bright and overwhelming. Have any tips?
Bounce and diffuse! Try pointing the light into a white wall.
DeleteDone. :) Thanks!
DeleteHi Alice, this is driving me nuts, but what's the brand of the teapot? I keep thinking it's Bodo Sperlein and I know I've seen it somewhere but it's eluding me. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi Amanda. I think it's by 3.co - I can't seem to find too much information about this brand online though!
DeleteOh, this is so interesting. It's from the same company that made the 'Ripple' tray you're using (you probably already know this). Thanks for letting me know, always good to have a catalog of beautiful teapots in the back of my mind - never know when one might need a new one.
DeleteSuch good inspo. Doing my rounds of Liebster Award nominations and I had to put you on my list, xx

Been feasting my eyes on the last few posts that I'd missed. Sigh. You were in Milan and I'm in Paris. So far yet so close. Never mind, you'll just have to make it to London someday.
ReplyDeleteThis light is insanely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. Every year I tell myself that I'm going to buy some quince blossoms but miss the season... this is inspiring me to not let another one go by.
ReplyDeleteYou have an amazing eye for simplicity which comes across the photography with stunning results!
