I forgot how hard it was to take even basic self-portraits. The light was too pretty in my living room this afternoon to not try, though.
I'm amazed that my $3 remote from China that I had gotten for my Rebel XTi back in 2008 still works. On the original battery no less.
It's not easy doing the self-portrait thing after all this time, but looks like you haven't lost your touch. Love the soft lighting on both of them, well done!
ReplyDeletethese are beautiful alice! what great lighting. wish i knew how. ;)
ReplyDeleteyou are so lovely! i adore these.
ReplyDeletethese are beautiful! i need one of those $3 remotes..

ReplyDeleteReally beautiful light, great pictures!
ReplyDeleteYou've done a fantastic job here, Alice. Beautiful lighting! I fail miserably each time when I tried to take a self portrait. Haven't managed to take ONE good photo yet.

ReplyDeleteNice photo...so prety
ReplyDeleteWow, gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful! I love the first shot, then the closer one. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's SO hard to take self portraits after taking a break from them. I tried a few days ago myself and couldn't seem to not make weird faces. It was really awkward! (Yours look lovely though!)
ReplyDeletei think i have that same remote, but haven't used it yet on self-portraits. it's a scary subject to take on, especially for someone like me, who's not photogenic at all. you're beautiful and i just love how flawless your skin looks.
ReplyDeleteleyla.
Just found your blog - you are beautiful, and so are these photos! I think even with perfect light I wouldn't be able to take these kind of pictures - thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLooking good Alice. The light is so nice in your apartment, no doubt a criteria when you were looking for a place to move into haha.
ReplyDeleteThis photos are breathtaking! So simple and casual yet personable. I realize that I am completely comfortable behind the camera and never in front of it so I have been taking photos of myself as a way to face myself. I will defiantly be checking out your blog on a regular bases.
