In Dorset, VT
Went a little overboard and shot this same pink flower three ways. Portra 160 and the shade seem to go together muuuuch better (re: my complaining in previous post). There's another half roll shot of Vermont still sitting in my Contax that I just can't seem to finish off. Dontcha hate when that happens?

That second picture is just unreal, Alice.
ReplyDeleteI photograph flowers multiple ways too. ;)
ReplyDeleteHey Alice, simply gorgeous pictures, 2nd picture took my breath away. Loved the texture and colors of all the pics. Brilliant job :)
ReplyDeleteAll so lovely, but I am really obsessed with the second picture! Would love that as a print...
ReplyDeleteThat can definitely be arranged if you'd like. :)
DeleteI would love that! I've been meaning to go through your Etsy store for awhile... Maybe I can finally get my act together this weekend, and add this print to my order?
Deleteonce we dreamt that we were strangers.we wake up to find that we were dear to each other. This is a very good choice. Because it can let you know more than with.
ReplyDeleteit's a beautiful flower in all angles :)
ReplyDeletei love the first one!! the colours are so soft and intense at the same time! love this! i wonder if you develop your film on the lab with scanning included or if you scan them at home later on! i'm having thoughts about buying a scanner!
ReplyDeleteI get the lab to scan them! It makes a huge difference where your film is scanned. It's very expensive, but I can't get the same results by scanning at home.
Deleteoh there sure is a huge difference! i started to notice that regardless the kind of film i was shooting with, the results ended almost the same, regarding saturation and colours. and so i thought "why bother paying more for this or that film?" so i talked to them and together we found out a setting that i was pleased with! that was really nice of them, but still... sometimes i need to do a little tweak on PS and i didn't want to do that later, hence the doubts on buying the scanner!
DeleteMagic, magic, magic!
ReplyDeleteYour photography is so soft and clear and wonderful. Following now!
