I've always been a fan of
Hearth and frequented it when I lived in the East Village. They recently started offering brunch, so J and I checked it out a few weeks ago. I've been so bad about carrying my SLR with me when I'm not working, and often regret it when I happen across a photogenic brunch like this! Nonetheless, I wanted to share some iPhone snaps because I think you guys
enjoy my brunch food
porn ;).
I have serious cravings for their apple cider donuts, so I can never go to Hearth without getting an order of them. And both of our main dish choices were solid — I had the braised market rapini with poached eggs and J had the roasted chicken salad sandwich.
lovely!

ReplyDeleteyum, looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteI saw the photo of the poached eggs and rapini on your Instagram and thought, "Wow, that looks familiar!" My parents and I went for an early Mother's Day brunch a couple weekends ago, and I had a tough time choosing what to order (I went with the eggs/rapini). Those apple cider donuts sounded so good. I'd love to go back and try more items!
ReplyDeleteI also liked the posters in the bathroom promoting their Summer of Riesling that featured different book/movie characters and why they deserved some Riesling.
I had no idea these were iPhone photos. Such lovely captures!!! You really got some great foodie shots ^__^
