Gosh it is pretty here. Just about everywhere you look, there is something pretty magnificent about the scenery. I'm super out of the Internet loop these days, as reception is poor in most areas and I guess I'm supposed to be on "vacation" mode. I'm actually using Jimmy's phone as a wireless access point so I can poke my head in on here.
The hard part to get used to in Kauai is that so many attractions close down by like 3 or 4pm, and if a restaurant opens until 9pm, that's considered late. Unthinkable for us city folk!

One thing's for sure - a return trip is in order! That 11-mile Kalalau hiking trail is definitely on my bucket-list. :)

ReplyDeleteKauai is a little different; it IS the attraction. Everything else is diversion. You need to turn the engine waaaaay down to really appreciate it all.

ReplyDeleteI was just there in February and had horrible weather - you are so lucky to have the beautiful Kaua'i ! Hanalei valley lookout for us was just a wash of green - your photo is wonderful. Enjoy!
