At least it wasn't red wine

If you follow me on Snapchat, you might have seen that I handily spilled an entire glass of champagne down my shirt at a recent dinner. It all happened so fast. One second I was trying to move some glasses out of the way so the waitstaff could put down a large plate; the next, there was an empty glass in front of me and my entire bosom was soaked. And my pants. And parts of my beloved green jacket. See, this is why I shouldn't own nice things. I dabbed and got on with the night, because what else can you really do? At least it wasn't red wine.

I really loved this top though, and wanted to share this outfit (post-champagne shower and all). I paired this little Johanna Ortiz off the shoulder number with these slightly wide-legged pants from J.Crew. The pants are so comfortable I could wear them every day (sizing wise, I think they might run a tad big. I sized down from my usual 0P to 00P in these). I only wish they had pockets!

These platform sandals from Pierre Hardy are going to get a lot of wear from me this season, especially as I get to feel what it's like to be a "normal" height in them. The air really is different 5 inches up ;).

  2. I think you've just pulled off the coolest spin on off-the-shoulder look.

Also your bob inspires me to cut my hair shorter!
